The Hempfield School District is a school district of 7218 students educated in 10 schools by 420 teachers in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.〔(Hempfield School District statistics )〕 It is a member of Lancaster-Lebanon Intermediate Unit (IU) 13. Hempfield School District has many different extra curricular activities such as; Football, Baseball, Basketball, Field Hockey, Lacrosse, Tennis, Cross Country, Track and Field, Cheerleading, Swimming, and Bowling. The school also has a quality music and dance theater program. The district also offers many different clubs that allow the students to get involved during their time at Hempfield. The majority of students are white. There are 24 Native American students, 193 Asian students, and 193 black students, with 410 students of all races considering themselves Hispanic or Latino. == Scholastic Performance == Attendance at Landisville Primary Center in Landisville, Pennsylvania during the 2005-2006 school year was 96.50%, essentially the same as the 96.89% scored in the prior year.
